In order to run the entire radio testbed system, we studied each device’s function capability and tested each one in a simplified situation to become more familiar with each component. This included learning about MATLAB serial port communication, the Nova Source TX radio, eMonitoring RX radio, MaxStream communication radios, and the digitizer.
